With a gorgeous interior, Deng Ji Yunnan is a gem on Long Island. We ordered a variety of dishes including their braised beef rice noodles, braised pork rice noodles, salt and pepper chicken, spare ribs, shanghai soup dumplings and brown sugar delight. Everything was great! We did ask for less salt on everything, which was perfect. Note: If you purchase their membership prepaid card, overall, you'd pay less for your meal. Might be worth it if you intend to come frequently.

This is such a lovely place! I've been to the flushing location several times but never the Long Island one. The inside is very nicely decorated compared to the flushing. It's also much more spacious and feels like more emphasis is placed on the interior design. Service was super quick. We ordered the salt and pepper ribs and pork and crab dumplings to share. We both got the beef option for our noodle soup and I just loveeeee the comforting soup so much. It is enough for at least 2 meals and it just hits the spot especially during winter. One thing I noticed compared to the flushing one is they didn't do side dishes. But that was ok since the service and food quality was great.

Ate here on a whim a few Saturday night's ago. We luckily got our names on the list before the hectic dinner rush. It gets crowded soo quickly ! It's a good sign because it means the food is good. Walking in, the decor is so cute and makes you really feel like you're transported to another world. It feels clean too. We ordered some starters and also two of the soups. I don't remember the names now but they were both so good. The soup arrived to the table deconstructed. The server puts them in the bowl for you and they do it rather quickly so snap a pic before if you want to!! The presentation of each ingredient is beautiful and it's nice to see the ingredients before they're cooked. I can't wait to go back and try more! The shrimp skewers were good. It came with a lot of shrimp and they light it up in front of you (order it and you'll see what I mean! Haha) Long story short- would highly recommend & will come again soon.

Great but can be exceptional! Guoqiao Mixian means crossing the bridge noodles or just bridge noodles. For the uninitiated, the noodles and its sides are served in a hot pot style like meal. The presentation is beautiful and restaurant is well decorated, but unfortunately the service is left to be desired and can bring the place to exceptional. Taste: 4.5/5 Service: 2/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value for money: 3.5/5 (4.5/5 if you are using their membership) We had: 1) Signature bridge noodles: Good! Comes with a drink and is cooked in front of you. Also comes with some spicy pig ear 2) Beef bridge noodles: good as well, does not come with the other added items mentioned in 1) 3) pan fried pumpkin: very good, a sweet appetiser 4) beef skewers: can't go wrong here, could even do with a little more spice 5) lamb skewers: this was good too, could also do more with spice, takes away from the gaminess 6) oyster with chili vermicelli: better in Asia, but this is authentic and does follow well. It's essentially cooked large oyster with spicy vermicelli on top with chili flakes! As it comes to service, the staff in many ways sometimes don't want to be there and it shows, it takes away from the experience and if they smiled when doing the bridge noodles it would make all the difference. At the end of the day we were full so it's fine, just doesn't get full marks.

An amazing new gem in Levittown has sprung up showcasing some amazing noodle options along with a host of other options for all to enjoy a great meal together. Food tried included, chicken lo mein, pineapple fried rice with beef addition, shrimp, chicken, beef, and eggplant with chili garlic skewers and a spicy beef broth dish. The food is freshly prepared with accuracy and speed, which was a nice surprise. The spice levels can be customized to one's liking. The food was a nice and refreshing experience and surprisingly the pricing is more than fair!

Wow this place is gorgeous inside and the food is amazing! The pineapple fried rice was served in a pineapple, soup dumplings were delicious, passion fruit lemonade came with the hot pot we picked and both were so good!! They have a few different hot pot meals to choose from. They also have tea on the table for you and leave the kettle so you can pour more. Will definitely be back soon, so glad we saw their sign driving by one day.

I've been to the other location of Deng Ji in the past, the one in Flushing, and I thought it was great! This specific location has a lovely space that's well decorated and has lots of seating inside! There's also a parking lot since it's in a plaza which makes it convenient to go to. Another thing I noticed was that there were so many families with kids, so I guess it's very kid friendly. Service was great, food came out quick! We ordered several appetizers and noodles and it was certainly filling. For appetizers, we got the popcorn chicken, oysters cooked in a garlic sauce with vermicelli noodles, and several skewers. The skewers were plump and had a ton of seasoning but it wasn't spicy at all. The popcorn chicken was crispy and came with what I believe is thousand island sauce? So that was interesting. The oyster was huge! Lots of garlic! For noodles, we got the sauerkraut fish fillet and spicy beef stew. In the past, I had gotten the crossing the bridge noodle soups which came with an assortment of different toppings and noodles that were all dumped into the soup at the table for you. Those are bigger compared to these noodle soups. These are prepared beforehand rather than put together at the table. They were still good but could've used more soup. We also wanted a spicy broth but the spicy beef stew wasn't spicy enough, nothing was quite spicy here. Overall, a good restaurant for any sized groups. Large menu with lots of things to offer. I personally do enjoy the type of rice noodles they have here since I grew up eating it. The texture is silky yet chewy. Would come back and try more things!
